Ingrid Thurnher is a presenter, journalist and editor-in-chief of ORF III. She began her career at ORF in 1985 as a presenter, became an editor at the ORF regional studio in Lower Austria, and finally an editor for domestic politics at ORF radio. Beginning in 1995, Turnher became one of the faces of ORF's evening news (ZiB 2), a role she filled for many years. Between 2008 and 2016, Turnher hosted the ORF discussion programmes Im Zentrum and Runder Tisch. She has been the editor-in-chief of ORF III since January 2017, and presents the programme 60 Minuten Politik.
