Julio Villanueva Chang

Julio Villanueva Chang is the founding editor of Etiqueta Negra Magazine, teacher at Gabriel García Márquez Iberoamerican Foundation for New Journalism, and member of the Advisory Board of Radioambulante.org. He received the Interamerican Press Association Award (IAPA) in feature writing. He has published Elogios Criminales, a collection of his profiles, among other writings translated into six languages. He was the editor of Messi, a biography (Anchor Books), written by Leonardo Faccio, and has been speaker at TEDx Amazonia of Brasil, at Harvard’s Nieman Conference on Narrative Journalism, and at Columbia, Stanford, Yale and the Beijing Foreign Studies University.
