Miguel Carvalho (47, Porto, Portugal), is reporter at newsmagazine VISÃO since 1999. He also worked at Diário de Notícias and weekly newspaper O Independente. He won the Orlando Gonçalves Prize (Journalism), in 2008, and the Gazeta Prize, in 2009, the country´s highest award for journalists, with an investigation on the murder of one of the extreme-right leaders. He published five books and wrote journalistic and literary texts for national and foreign publications.
